Wiseplan
Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

We want everyone to be able to use Wiseplan, whatever their device or ability. Many of the people we build for are planning later in life, so accessibility matters to us from the start - not as an afterthought.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We believe most of this website meets that standard, and we test as we build.

What we've done

  • Semantic, structured HTML with clear landmarks, so screen readers can navigate the page.
  • Text and background colours chosen to meet AA contrast, including on our warm-sand sections.
  • Visible focus styles, and a site you can operate by keyboard alone.
  • Body text of at least 16px that scales when you zoom, and respects "reduce motion" settings.
  • Descriptive labels on links, buttons and form fields, and decorative icons hidden from assistive tech.

Known issues

We're not currently aware of any significant accessibility barriers on this site, and it passes our automated accessibility checks. Automated tools don't catch everything, though - so if something doesn't work for you, please tell us and we'll put it right.

Tell us about a problem

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help and to put it right.
