Privacy notice.
This notice explains what personal information Wiseplan collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it - in plain English. It covers our website and its forms only: the waitlist, the contact form and the professional enquiry form. Wiseplan is pre-launch, so the only information we hold is what you choose to give us through those forms - the Wiseplan product itself isn't available yet.

Who we are
Wiseplan ("we", "us", "our") is an early-stage product, currently pre-launch and in development. For the personal information described in this notice, Wiseplan is the data controller - the party responsible for deciding how and why your information is used.
This notice covers our website and the information you give us through it. It does not cover the Wiseplan product or app, which isn't available yet - we'll publish a fuller notice for that when it launches.
If you have any questions about this notice or your information, please email us at [email protected].
The information we collect
When you join the waitlist, or write to us through our contact or professional enquiry form, we collect only what you choose to give us:
| Information | Why we ask for it |
|---|---|
| Your name | So we can address you properly when we write. |
| Email address | So we can tell you when your invitation is ready. |
| Which best describes you | So we understand who's interested and build the right product. |
| Optional message | Only if you choose to write one. Please don't include sensitive details. |
When you use our website, we also collect limited, anonymous technical information - such as your device type, browser and the pages you visit - through Cloudflare Web Analytics. It's privacy-friendly: it doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites. We don't ask for any special category data (such as health information) at this stage, and you shouldn't include any in your message.
Why we use your information, and our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we must have a "lawful basis" for using your personal information. Ours are:
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Add you to the waitlist and email you about early access | Consent - which you can withdraw at any time. |
| Reply to a message you send through the contact or professional enquiry form | Legitimate interests - to respond to your enquiry. |
| Understand who's interested so we build the right thing | Legitimate interests. |
| Run, secure and improve our website | Legitimate interests. |
We will only ever email you about Wiseplan. We won't sell your information, and we won't use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until Wiseplan launches and you've either taken up your invitation or asked us to remove you - and in any case no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
How we keep it safe
We take security seriously. Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems, sensitive data is encrypted, and we limit access to the people who genuinely need it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used (this notice);
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where that's our basis.
To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics are cookieless and we don't use any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies - so there's no cookie banner to wade through. Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working. You can control or block cookies through your browser at any time.
How to complain
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as Wiseplan grows. We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know directly.
